A fixed-lens rangefinder Olympus made from 1969, with both center-weighted and spot metering.
The lens is a G.Zuiko 42mm f/1.7, seven elements in five groups on a double-Gauss design, taking 49mm filters, with a Copal leaf shutter behind it running 1 second to 1/500 and Bulb.
The metering is the reason to want one. A CdS cell reads either a center-weighted average or a 6-degree spot, and it works in manual as well as in shutter priority.
The meter is uncoupled: it shows an exposure value in the finder and you set the rings yourself. It focuses by coupled rangefinder to 0.85m and weighs 598g. The meter was designed around a 1.35V PX625 mercury cell and now needs a substitute.
